Part 1: Terms and Conditions of Sale – Algeria Guest Services

PREAMBLE

Algeria Guest OÜ is a company registered in Estonia under registry number 17214171, with VAT number EE102848050.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the "T&Cs") govern the contractual relationship between Algeria Guest OÜ (registered in Estonia, hereinafter referred to as the "Agent" or "Algeria Guest"), acting on behalf of the owners of tourist accommodations in Algeria, and the client (hereinafter referred to as the "Tenant").

Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs, which prevail over any other document, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Article 1 – Booking & Payment

The booking becomes firm and final once payment has been validated and these T&Cs have been accepted.

Payment:

The full amount of the stay is charged immediately and in one single payment at the time of booking confirmation.
Only payment by credit card in euros (€) is accepted via our secure payment system.
Additional services: Optional services (transfers, experiences, meals, cleaning, etc.) can be selected:
At the time of booking: Their cost is automatically added to the total booking amount and charged in a single payment.

After the booking: Services may be subscribed to before or during the stay via the Guest Portal at: https://guest-portal.hostaway.com/. The link is also sent to the client upon booking confirmation. In this case, payment is also made by credit card in euros and is charged immediately upon confirmation.

Article 2 – Transportation

Algeria Guest declines all responsibility in the event the client is unable to reach the booked accommodation, regardless of the cause (delay, flight cancellation, or otherwise). No refund will be issued. It is the client’s responsibility to take out travel insurance to cover such events.

Article 3 – Taxes

Applicable tourist taxes are included in the total booking amount unless stated otherwise. Cleaning fees are also included in the total price displayed at the time of booking.

Article 4 – Security Deposit

A security deposit via bank pre-authorization of a fixed amount of €200 is required. This pre-authorization is processed at check-in and is not debited unless damage or violation of the T&Cs occurs. The deposit is automatically released within 7 days after departure, minus any applicable charges (damage, cleaning, key loss, etc.). A 5% handling fee is applied in the event of a full or partial deduction. For reservations longer than 7 days, a new pre-authorization will be processed every 7 days to ensure coverage for the entire duration of the stay.

Article 5 – House Rules

The Tenant agrees to behave respectfully throughout the stay. This includes, notably:
Respecting peace and neighborhood rules.
No unauthorized guests may be brought into the property.
No excessive noise is allowed after 10:00 PM, including on terraces and outdoor areas.
Smoking is prohibited inside the property. In the case of a persistent tobacco smell, a fixed amount of €200 (plus 5%) will be deducted from the deposit.
Proper use of provided equipment (air conditioning, appliances, furniture, etc.).
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the rented premises.

Pets:

Pets are only allowed if the "Pet Friendly" optional service is selected at the time of booking or via the Guest Portal. The service must be selected per animal (e.g., two dogs require two units of the service).
If the service is not selected accordingly, Algeria Guest reserves the right to deny access to the property to any undeclared pet, without any refund.

Article 6 – Property Condition Report

An entry and exit inspection is conducted. The tenant may send photos via a secure link. Any issue must be reported within 24 hours after arrival. Algeria Guest has 48 hours after departure to report any damages.

Article 7 – Agent’s Responsibility

The Agent commits to providing accommodation in accordance with its description. They are not responsible for technical failures, public service outages, or external nuisances (construction, noise, weather, conflicts, etc.). No financial compensation may be claimed in such cases.

Article 8 – Client’s Responsibility

The client must use the property peacefully and is responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests. The following are strictly prohibited:

Any commercial activity or subletting.
Bringing pets without authorization.
Organizing parties without prior approval.
Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction without refund.

Article 9 – Damage, Theft, Loss

The tenant must return the property in good condition. Any damage, loss, or theft is the tenant’s responsibility. All provided linens (sheets, towels, etc.) must be returned. Algeria Guest is not liable for personal belongings left behind.

Article 10 – Cancellation Insurance

It is recommended that the client takes out travel insurance including cancellation coverage. Algeria Guest does not offer internal insurance. No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation outside the conditions stated.

Article 11 – Cancellation by Algeria Guest

If Algeria Guest is unable to fulfill a confirmed booking, all received payments will be refunded in full. Whenever possible, an equivalent or superior accommodation will be offered.

Article 12 – Cancellation by the Client

More than 14 days before arrival: Full refund.
Between 14 and 7 days before arrival: 50% refund.
Less than 7: No refund.
No refund in the case of early departure.

Article 13 – Stay Modifications

Any date modification is considered a cancellation if it cannot be accommodated based on availability.

Article 14 – Check-in / Check-out

Check-in: Between 4:00 PM and 11:00 PM (local Algerian time).
Check-out: Before 11:00 AM (local Algerian time).

Late check-out may incur additional fees.

Article 15 – Intellectual Property

All photos, texts, and visuals on Algeria Guest materials are protected. Any reuse without written permission is prohibited.

Article 16 – Language

Official communications are conducted in French or English.

Article 17 – Cleaning and Linens

The property is delivered clean, with linens provided. The client must:

Leave used sheets at the foot of the bed.
Ensure trash is properly disposed of in designated bins.
Additional cleaning charges may apply if the property is left in disarray.

Article 18 – Additional Services

Any optional service (extra cleaning, meals, transfers, etc.) must be selected and paid via the Guest Portal before Algeria Guest can guarantee it. No service will be provided without prior confirmed payment by credit card via the secure portal.

Article 19 – Validity of T&Cs

These T&Cs are effective as of April 1, 2025. Algeria Guest may modify them at any time without prior notice. The T&Cs in effect at the time of booking apply.

Article 20 – Governing Law & Disputes

This contract is governed by Estonian law and applicable EU consumer protection regulations.

In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of Tallinn.

An amicable resolution will always be prioritized before any legal proceedings.

Disputes will be handled in English or French.

Article 21 – Cohabitation Rules – Algerian Law

In accordance with customs and regulations in the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, it is strictly prohibited for unmarried couples of opposite sexes to cohabit in the same rented accommodation.

In the absence of proof of marriage, the owner or their representative reserves the right to deny access to the property. No refund will be issued in such cases.

Article 22 – Registration Form

After booking confirmation, a unique pre-registration link will be available on the Guest Portal for the entire travel group. This form must be completed before arrival.

Only the main traveler (the one who made the booking) is required to provide a valid ID (passport or national ID card).

Refusal to complete this form may result in cancellation without refund.

Part 2: Terms of Use – Website & Platform Access

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Algeria Guest's reservation website, located at book.algeriaguest.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Algeria Guest if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services, in accordance with and subject to, the law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.

Unless otherwise stated, Algeria Guest and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Algeria Guest.

All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Algeria Guest for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

Republish material from Algeria Guest
Sell, rent or sub-license material from Algeria Guest
Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Algeria Guest
Redistribute content from Algeria Guest

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Algeria Guest does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website.
Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Algeria Guest,its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Algeria Guest shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website. Reservation of Rights

We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our Website. You approve to immediately remove all links to our Website upon request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuously linking to our Website, you agree to be bound to and follow these linking terms and conditions.

Removal of links from our website

If you find any link on our Website that is offensive for any reason, you are free to contact and inform us any moment. We will consider requests to remove links but we are not obligated to or so or to respond to you directly.
